i haven’t had much time to post during our tour, but a few of us took some fun pictures in an alleyway near kansas city. for some reason, i tend to dress up more when it rains. i suppose it brightens an otherwise dreary-type of day. i grabbed this forest green hat by chance, but it turned out to be a good choice. :) i have completely blown through my suitcase of clothes, leaving some mixing and matching to do; then again, that’s the best way to stumble upon a new outfit like this one!
so, here i sit, watching miss america with only one nail-painted hand with my girls. i hope that everyone continues to have a great weekend. more to come this next week as everything slows down a bit.

p.s.- i am reading such a magical novel right now: a farewell to arms by hemingway. the love and symbolism is quite wonderful. this is a quote that i journaled after i read it. a quote from the main character to his love:
“There isn't any me. I'm you. Don't make up a separate me.”
