it has been too long, friends. things have been a bit more than chaotic recently, but i have been so excited to get back in the swing of tog jar. i won’t say much, but i would like to mention that i had one of the best friend dates in awhile with Raleigh and Aimee at a little Indian joint in town. i had some deep fried indian cheese with a spicy tomato cream sauce. needless to say, i'm feeling quite full and equally satisfied.
also, let it be known that long sweaters and short people do work! : ) i’m in love with my comfy cream, mid-calf length sweater. i figured, too, that i would tell you a bit about one of my favorite flea market finds. this gem of a locket found me with old photos of two women in it, and i have always loved carrying the history that it holds with me. in looking at it, i often imagine what the story behind it could possibly hold. some sort of love triangle with the owner? family? friends separated by seasons in life? it's a curious thing to carry something that seems to be so personal to someone else.
