things have been absolutely nuts around here. i mentioned posting my square dancing deets over than a week ago, but i'm just now getting around to it. the summer has been filled with lovely times with friends and family, trips and drives, and the occasional drive-in movie. dad runs a classic country music opry, and solely because i am his child, he recruits me to do remarkably embarrassing tasks, but i will deem it a labor of love. this past opry, he asked me to dress up as one of country's finest, loretta lynn. I dug through my great grandmother's clothes and managed to find the perfect dress. among all of the duds, i found quite a few square dancing dresses i had forgotten about. after trying this first white one on, i was absolutely sold. i think i'll hold onto as many of these as i can, and if dad asks me to dress up as loretta lynn, square dance in front of hundreds of people, or do any other horribly extroverted task, i probably won't mind as much if it means throwing on a few of these gems. :)
