i have to say, i don't think that i've ever spent monday morning quite like this one. on our way back from hilton head island in south carolina, we decided to prance around in some cotton fields. as i glanced about all of the white fields i thought about my grandparents celebrating their 71st anniversary this past week and how their first jobs consisted of picking cotton fields day in and day out. . . i can't imagine. we shed our fall layers after awhile and romped around.
in other news, it's almost thanksgiving! i cannot wait to make the 20 hour trek to arkansas and spend some time with loved ones and eat some much needed comfort food.
